But I really believe you will enjoy this researched presentation of how the first Thanksgiving really went, compared with the version we're all familiar with and the one that most of us have been taught.

Returning again to the subject of Youth Groups we read a couple responses from listeners and blog-readers on the subject of Youth Groups, hearing both from a Youth Leader and a Youth Group attender, who both shed some light on the issue.

As a follow-up to the latest Christianese Radio Blog post by the same name (see below), I read the blogpost as well as an addendum and give some further thoughts and clarification on the matter. Youth Groups are sliding dangerously close to the Emerging Church movement; moreso than the Church itself. We need to be wary of what's going on and we need to call Youth Leaders' attention to the problem.

11-23-09 Half-Hour 1: "Satan's Regrets & Muslim Redemption"

We finish up some discussion about the questions from the previous episode about Satan and his capability of turning back to God, as well as looking at the results of the latest poll question "Is there ever a BAD time to share the Gospel?". Finally we look at what God is doing in Muslim society, and how He is miraculously and awesomely saving Muslims.

For many Christians the question of Profanity has a strong answer. But to other Christians... not so much. What is the (Biblical) story on Profanity? Is there a Biblical answer? But I think the real question many Christians ask in return is "Does this question really need an answer?" In this half-hour we read a couple of blogs on the subject of Profanity where Christians are concerned.

We've all been there.... You've just overcome a sin in your life by the Grace of Christ, probably a huge sin. You're swimming in victory. Everything's going great. You feel happy. You almost feel like all this good stuff is suddenly happening all at once. Life is good. But... yes, of course there's a "but"... lurking in the shadows nearby, every time, is a watchful Enemy, grinning, because the Shields are dropping.

10-27-09 Half-Hour 2: "Surrendering to God's Will"

Reflecting on what the Lord has been teaching me these past few weeks, we take a look at the recurring scenario throughout the Christian life of God revealing to us what He wants done, and we turn and run the other way. Perhaps He's calling us to do something such as Ministry. Perhaps He is calling us to turn from a sin we are habitually committing. We discuss these scenarios and show why it is important to trust God when He calls us to do something.

This half-hour is sort of a mish-mash of thoughts from various different categories. Some things of interest in the news lately, most of which have brought this unshakable feeling to my mind... Finally I give a quick review and share some thoughts on the movie The Visitation based on the novel by Frank Peretti, and this rather accurate picture of the modern day church it illustrated.

10-19-09 Half-Hour 2: "Could Jesus Have Sinned?"

No doubt that title got your attention. There is a silent conflict going on between two Christian divisions on the subject of whether or not Jesus Christ, while we know He did not sin, was capable of sinning. With help from an article, we discern this predicament and attempt to uncover the Biblical answer to this thought-provoking question. But beyond that we focus on the awesomeness of God, Who is above our limited human logic.

10-19-09 Half-Hour 1: "Bible Study, Polls, & Communication"

The show is back, at last. As the scenario usually goes, I give some minor explanations, but then shift the focus over to more discussion about Bible Study and the last Poll Question ("Should Small Groups be Restricted to using the Bible?") and take a look at the new question (which should be interesting). Finally, Jesus said the End would not come until all the world had heard the Gospel. This seems a little far-fetched... but when we really examine what's going on in this day and age, it's not as far-fetched as it seems. And whether the secular world knows it or not, it's only aiding in bringing this prophecy about.

See the Enemy's tactics for what they really are. But, you know, sometimes we deceive ourselves! Which is yet more proof that we really can be flat-out stupid.

Many Christians, myself included, having taken for granted what it actually means to be a Christian and a true follower of Christ. There is much more to it than we realize; we are representatives of Christ, not just mere followers, but representatives. In this half-hour we examine what it means to be a representative of Christ.

09-28-09 Half-Hour 2: "The First Commandment"

As a followup, or part two, to Half-Hour 2 of the 09-08-09 show, "The Second Commandment", we return to the Ten Commandments, particularly the First Commandment, "You shall have no other gods before Me..." and the overall theme of putting God first and everything else second. In relationships, it's easy to put your spouse or girl/boyfriend before God, especially when something bad happens, like a break-up. And in other more serious occurrences, such as divorce or death of a husband or wife, it is easy to lost sight of God and focus on ourselves.

09-28-09 Half-Hour 1: "So here's what happened..."

The show, at last, returns after a weeklong hiatus full of broken promises, but on the other hand, new features for the show (and new thoughts). In Half-Hour 1 I give an explanation as to what has been happening in the last week and why there was no new episode when it was promised twice in the same week that there would be. Also, among other things that have been happening within my "break from Christianese Radio", God has been revealing to me possibilities for my future in service to Him and His Kingdom.

We take a look at the latter, a new movie entitled Legion, and the plotline, then switch over to the one that is currently out, entitled Lord, Save Us From Your Followers, which may, or may not, be what Christianity (and the world) needs. We then take a look at Discernment Ministries listed of supposed "Heretics". And finally, speaking of heresy, we take a look at Joel Osteen's latest book, It's Your Time.

It's been a while but it is, at long last, time for a free-for-all. In this episode we wrap up last week's poll and answer its question, with help from Dr. Michael Youssef, "Is Acting a form of Lying?" then take a look at the new Bi-Weekly Poll Question (to the Right and scroll down). I also talk about some spiritual warfare and re-evaluations going on in my life. Plus we take a look at what the roots of the show have always been.

Warning! What you hear within may sound heretical but I don't mean it that way. We examine (further) why there is no need to change the Gospel to make it more applicable to today's generation because the Holy Spirit is the One Who is doing the work! A lot of Christians today have also lost the sincerity in their Gospel messages when speaking to the Lost. Finally we end with a clip from a powerful gripping sermon by Pastor Carter Conlon that was preached on the Sunday following the World Trade Center devastation of September 11, 2001.
